Highway Permits
Applications for overweight permits are available through the town office or may be downloaded by clicking the link above. Please address completed permit applications to Town of Barton; 34 Main St.; Barton, VT 05822. Fleet permit fees are $10 and single vehicle fees are $5. Permit applications will be reviewed at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Selectboard.
Please reach out to the road foreman for the town Right of Way policy. This policy addresses issues concerning curb cuts for new driveways, culvert installations, and snow removal requirements. Blank permits may be downloaded by clicking the link above
